The first album released on Stolar is rather special. We’re used to top notch productions from the artist already but his magnificently titled long player exceeds expectations. Musically it’s a dance between past and future with classic sounds making their impression felt, while the atmospheres generated lean heavily on 2023. Classic House vibes blend neatly with more contemporary twists but either way this collection of music is both rich soulfully and creatively. There isn’t a weak track on here, each number defines its own space in the story based around the concept of a child being let lose in a department store at night. Although, it doesn’t feel like a soundtrack as such more a dance through time and spaces, free to let your imagination run riot. You also can’t help but love the accompanying Art by Jules Villbrandt either.
