Stay True Sounds has that rare ability to capture the qualities of tradition while infusing their music with contemporary zeal. This gorgeous, exceptional slice of sound fuses a deep reflection of gospel-inspired chords, an unhurried pace of shuffling drums, plus a heady celebration of harmonious vocals together into one soulfully satisfying gem. Motionless, is put simply, like a warm embrace of sound spelling out life’s affirmation. Much like, Le Rokolois does, although this time hitting you via a more rigorous Detroit-favoured bassline working wonders on another excellent release from the label.
