Serial Deeper is a great piece of music that travels in differing directions gathering momentum through rhythm and melodic flourishes. Capturing the heart of eight intriguing minutes the title track deftly explores the dividing line between rigorous, grainy drums and bass, and the lighter more soulful keys occasionally appear along the route of inquiry providing stark contrast. This feels full of hidden meaning sailing by.
Goodboy, on the other hand, boasts classic bass sounds and happier inclinations leaving Dune to complete the release by again diving deeper with fizzy percussion, punctuating voices alongside more of that bubbling bass amid a curious, defiant air of mystery that amazingly carries your attention down to its sheer drive.
