This is all sorts of funkiness rolled into one. The drums undulate like excitable liquid offset by an array of fired-up modulated sounds that punch and punctuate to operate this fabulous rhythm device. Voices are clipped yet pertinent: Shake That Acid says it all. And all the while this feels urgent, creatively forward moving sounding just like 2024. Infectious or addictive, take your pick.
