The opening refrain of the title track, Persephone suggests the breeze of summer air caressing a journey into bliss, while hinting at melancholy yet realising the light at the end of the tunnel. Warmly emotive the unfolding number proceeds over six and half minutes, as the arrangement develops and expands, leaving the final moments to add the fizz of acid to the equation. A fine piece of music indeed. Remixes come from Pete Moss who picks it up via brisk hi-hats and kicks, Evren Furtuna who expands the creative possibilities of the track still further, and from Dj Jauche whose bassline has the influence of a funky Imagination to it.
